I hope you've had a great bank holiday weekend. Just a quick email with a few upcoming events and opportunities.

The Hill Event - Thursday 1st September

If you haven't booked your place yet, the penultimate summer event for The Hill, a partnership between DHOx, OUH and the Oxford AHSN, is on this Thursday, 1st September in the John Radcliffe hospital from 5.30pm til 8pm. The evening has a focus on funding your digital health project, with more information and signup on the Eventbrite page.

Data Warehouse training opportunity in Kenya with Prof Mike English

An Oxford linked programme in Kenya are looking for someone to provide a 1-week training course into how best to store large study data sets and associated sub-sets used in publication. Research Fellow / DPhil studentship in Big Data (George Institute, India/Oxford)

The George Institute are hiring a research fellow (with the possibility of a DPhil studentship) to work on a Big Data healthcare project, with a focus on data generated in India. The fellowship involves appropriate training in Oxford, and will report to Prof Mark Woodward in Oxford and also to the George Institute India. Health Foundry (London) - Launch and call for Founding Members

Applications are now open for Founding Members of the fantastic Health Foundry, located in Waterloo, London. Powered by Guy's and St Thomas' Charity, the Health Foundry launch event is a two-day Health Summit on 21st and 22nd September.
